Our mission is to inspire children and energize schools by nurturing creativity within our community. We want to foster inclusion, respect and social awareness through the joyous art of dance, creating a vibrant environment where every child feels empowered to express themselves and connect with others.

PRJ Arts and Innovation, Inc. was started in August of 2022 by Patti Rutland Simpson. A life long supporter of the arts, Patti believes that all children should have opportunities to experience the arts. Together with her son Vincent Johnson, PRJ Arts and Innovation began teaching weekly dance classes at Pike County Elementary and Pike County High School. In 2023, we expanded to include Banks Elementary School and Goshen Elementary School. 40 children selected from these schools received full scholarships to study as many classes as they chose to take at the Patti Rutland Jazz studio in Brundidge of the 2023 - 2024 school year. Patti forfeits 100% of her salary so that more children are afforded the opportunity to dance.

To make dance accessible and relevent to all learners through dance workshops, performance opportunities, community outreach and studio classes that are inclusive to all students regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, ability, socio-
economic status, nationality, religion, belief systems, language or learning styles. If a child wants to experience dance, we will facilitate that wish enthusiasm!

Begin Outreach at Pike Elementary, Goshen Elementary and Banks Elementary Schools.
Begin applications for scholarships for students.
Community auditions for Santa's Workshop.
December - All Pike County Elementary students attend Santa's Workshop. (Free!)
